The short version. No account, no email, no name, no password. You sign in with your wallet, the game keeps your progress against your wallet address, and nothing is sold, shared or used for advertising. There are no analytics or tracking cookies.
What the game stores
- Your wallet address, and the progress attached to it: pantry, tier, kitchens, licence, sessions played, meals earned, vault weight, what you have bought from the ingredient shop and what you have claimed.
- One sign-in cookie (franchise_session): a random token that expires after 7 days, readable only by the server, never by scripts in the page. It holds no personal data — it only points at your wallet address. Signing out deletes it.
- Nothing else. No email, no name, no password, no payment details. The game never asks for them and could not store them.
What it does not keep
- IP addresses are not stored. They are used only to limit how fast requests can arrive, held in the server’s memory, and forgotten after about a minute of quiet. They never reach the database.
- No analytics, no trackers, no advertising cookies, no fingerprinting. The site loads no third-party scripts for any of that.
- Your private keys never leave your wallet. Signing in is a free signature that moves no tokens, and every transaction is confirmed by you in your own wallet.
Who else sees something
- Ink (the blockchain) and its public node. The game reads balances, your locked Nobodies and contract totals from it, and your own transactions are sent to it.
- The Ink explorer (Blockscout). The server asks it which Nobodies an address holds. It sees the server’s request, not yours.
- Fly.io hosts the game in London and keeps ordinary server logs (requests and errors) for a short time.
- Your wallet, and WalletConnect if you choose that option to connect. They have their own privacy policies.
- Nobody else. Nothing is sold, rented or handed to advertisers.
What is public forever
This part is not the game’s choice and cannot be undone by it:
- Everything you do on-chain — buying ingredients, locking a Nobody, paying for an upgrade, claiming $HAPPY — is recorded on Ink permanently and publicly, with your wallet address.
- The leaderboard shows wallet addresses (shortened) and each wallet’s share of the week’s vault, so the game can be checked by anyone.
- The Stats page shows totals only, never individual players.
Deleting your data
Ask on Discord or X and the game’s records for your wallet can be erased: progress, purchases credited, claim totals and your sign-in. Two honest caveats:
- On-chain history cannot be erased by anyone, including us.
- Erasing your game record also erases what you are owed. Claim your $HAPPY first, or it stays in the claim contract with nobody able to sign for it.
